Abstract submission rules

The deadline for abstract submission is now closed. Thank you for your interest

Submissions of abstracts for the Occupational Health for Health Workers Joint Conference (SCOHHW, SCWHW, SCIH, SCBOH) on Barcelona website will be available from August 1, 2024 until December 15, 2024.

The theme of the conference is:

“Toward Sustainable Health Systems: Healthy Workers, Gender Equity, and New Leaderships”

Submissions should be no more than 500 words in english and should specify whether the abstract is for oral or poster presentation. The contact person with email address should be clearly identified on the submission.

There is no limit of abstracts that can be sent by the same author, and there is no limit of authors for the same abstract, although in this case it must be specified who is the contact email. Submitters should indicate whether they want to be considered for oral or just poster presentations. Abstracts presented at the congress could have been presented previously but not published.

For the original delivery of abstracts, the preferred format is PDF. All posters, if accepted, must be prepared as poster presentations (we will send guidelines for this after the submission has been accepted). Only accepted oral deliveries must present a Power Point for oral presentation.

Modifications can be made to the abstracts only if asked for by the reviewers. If additional data has been obtained after the submission – the authors can advise the judges – and acceptance of additions/modifications will be determined on case-by-case basis.

We expect submissions to be reviewed and authors advised by Dec. 15, 2024. We hope to publish a special journal of the conference presentations and posters. If your abstract is selected for oral or poster presentation, you agree that it can be published in this journal.
